C1s due to the nature of having only 1 blade are harder to track than kayaks have 2 blades. What is tracking? This video opposite describes really well the state our boat can be in.

I would call this offside or outside edge carving. The main point though is that the tail is following the bow as the boat is moving forwards. If the tail is following the bow then the boat is tracking. Lets have a look at this
This also applies to staggers We want the tail following the bow. Above is the lines the hips would take on two different styles of stagger. We can see both lines are very flowing. This is what we want in real life too. Good Tracking
